A quaint and very popular village centred around Chatterton Road, with a multitude of businesses that enables the village to be predominantly self-sufficient, including several restaurants, a Co-Operative local food store, a stationers, gym, hair salons, carpet and furniture stores, café’s and a local tailor to name a few.
Chatterton Village is a hive of activity for it’s local community and sits close enough to Bromley town centre for access to the main amenities and Bromley South station, but far enough not to become entangled in the bustle of a big town.
Centred in the Bromley Common location is the highly regarded Raglan Primary School which is a well established and very popular primary school catering for the local community. Ravenswood Secondary and Ravensbourne Secondary are also close by and very popular for Bromley’s secondary schooling.
Chatterton Village is close to Whitehall Recreation Ground with open playing fields and a childrens playground with an array of facilities for the young, providing local families with an excellent local amenity. The larger Normans Park is also close by with sports (track and field) facilities and also provides access to the woodlands and Hayes Farm walk.
With Chatterton Village being just yards away from the A21, public transport is plentiful with bus services to the north and south of Bromley, including services into London & Lewisham. The A21 provides a quick and direct connection to the M25 in just 10 minutes, which makes the location very attractive to those requiring quick access to the South East motorway network. Rail services are at Bromley South and Bickley, both of which are within easy reach.
